Our tactics to raise awareness of our Gary gateway are key to building confidence in our business corridor. Visit Miler Beach Gary is the only comprehensive portal to the ecotourism destinations that excite and inspire visitors to come and experience our beauty.

Ecotourism is essential component of our marketing message. In the past , Miller Beach visitation has only been at 3 percent of the overall Indiana Dunes attendance numbers, our efforts are only the beginning of our movement to bring a larger share of over 4 million annual visitors to the Indiana Dunes visitors to our downtown.

Help fund events that bring visitors to our business corridors, as well as the ongoing advertising that is needed to build on the momentum that we have been creating

Become a “Friends of Lake Street” member

Support efforts to bring events to downtown Lake Street, as well as maintenance of street pole banners and lights. Partnering with the City of Gary, South Shore CVA, and Legacy Foundation’s NWI Thrive project continue to boost our reach and drive interest in our Miller Beach businesses.

Our relationships with Northern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (NIRPC), National Park Service (NPS), and the Gary Public Transportation Corp (GPTC) are essential to further building our efforts.
